II. DENDROCHRONOLGY MAZE
Time disguised as both our friend and foe,
And what’s past between us is damage done
With influence by always one;
The immaculate thought of future destruction for two.
A bat swallowed whole by fear of the dark;
Subtle demise as growing emotional dependency.
This universal seduction – upholding my removal from vulnerability.
Starting and stopping, the world at play,
Lost without borders in our dendrochronology maze,
Whoever works the magic is already forced to remain.
The spectrum almost extinct for just a moment;
Tricks to delight, purchasing monstrosity clocks
In school time schizophrenia, the character building blocks
Are almost absolute in overwhelming feeling -
To miss the things I never thought I once bore.
Stopping now on my own accord.
While obtained, we are complete – separation
Of mirror fragments from retinas by dead-end curiosity,
Where we go and how to be misheard.
Still entranced in between, one grips the sound
Somewhere like condemnation and personal ethereal:
Mundanity is more than a word
